Creating a Concrete Profile using Concrete Calibration Parameters

What is this?

Each concrete mix is unique and possesses its own special temperature-strength curve. This curve is captured in a concrete profile which is used to map the concrete's temperature data to its real-time strength. A new concrete profile for a mix is created using data gathered from a calibration process.

Using data gathered from this calibration, a linear regression equation can be created for the specific mix of concrete. Using the parameters for this model, a concrete profile can be created in the LumiCon app.

Steps

  1. Locate your job site and go to the jobs overview page by tapping the Concrete Sensors tile.
  2. Tap the three dots in the top right, and click Concrete Profile.
  3. Hit the New Profile button and choose Enter Concrete Parameters.
  4. Enter the profile name, and select which Maturity Method and Maturity Strength Relationship to use. By default they are Nurse-Saul and Plowman, respectively.
  5. Choose the datum temperature, typically 0 °C / 32 °F.
  6. Once finished tap Add to save your concrete profile.
