What is this?
Each concrete mix is unique and possesses its own special temperature-strength curve. This curve is captured in a concrete profile which is used to map the concrete's temperature data to its real-time strength. A new concrete profile for a mix is created using data gathered from a calibration process.
Using data gathered from this calibration, a linear regression equation can be created for the specific mix of concrete. Using the parameters for this model, a concrete profile can be created in the LumiCon app.
Creating the Concrete Profile
Steps
- Locate your job site and go to the jobs overview page by tapping the Concrete Sensors tile.
- Tap the three dots in the top right, and click Concrete Profile.
- Hit the New Profile button and choose Enter Concrete Parameters.
- Enter the profile name, and select which Maturity Method and Maturity Strength Relationship to use. By default they are Nurse-Saul and Plowman, respectively.
- Choose the datum temperature, typically 0 °C / 32 °F.
- Once finished tap Add to save your concrete profile.
